Last entrance to the monument 30 minutes before closing time.
On December 24 and 31, the Clock will exceptionally close at 5 p.m.
Closed on January 1th, May 1th, November 11 and December 25.

Access and transport
Besançon Astronomical Clock

By car
From the A36 (Beaune-Mulhouse), take exit 4 for access to Besançon city center. The Astronomical clock is located in the heart of Besançon city center. There is plenty of parking available in the vicinity of the monument.
By bike
The Besançon Astronomical Clock is less than 5km from the Eurovéloroute.
By train
Besançon is served by the SNCF lines from Dole-Ville to Belfort, from Besançon-Viotte to Le Locle-Col-des-Roches and from Besançon-Viotte to Vesoul; the station is within walking distance (2.1km), but there are also a number of public transport links between the station and the city centre: bus L3 or L5; Tram T2.
